Travel chronicles: personal stories

Crónicas and relatos del camino

Stories that are born while we travel

Traveling is much more than moving from one place to another. Each journey opens the possibility of encounters, unexpected situations and moments that only exist because we decide to go out into the world with curiosity. Crónicas and relatos del camino brings together those stories that are born while we travel through cities, towns or distant landscapes.

Chronicles and stories of the road

Here the journey becomes a narrative. They are texts that capture specific scenes: a conversation in a cafe, an encounter with someone who appears unexpectedly, a night in an unknown city or a walk that ends up revealing something deeper about the place and about oneself.

These chronicles do not seek to function as tourist guides or as exhaustive descriptions of a destination. What they are trying to do is capture the human experience of travel, that mix of observation, emotion and discovery that occurs when we stop to look carefully.

Sometimes stories are born from simple situations: a train trip, a talk with a taxi driver, an afternoon in a square where everyday life reveals the identity of a place. Other times they arise from more intense moments: farewells, unexpected encounters or moments that remain etched in memory.

The Crónicas and relatos del camino They are, in essence, fragments of travel that combine memory, observation and narrative. Small stories where movement, places and people intertwine to build a unique experience.
