Travel, music and sound culture of the world

The trip sounds different depending on the place. This is the soundtrack of my journey.

Each trip has its own rhythm. Sometimes it's the sound of a crowded street, other times it's music that appears unexpectedly in a small bar or at an outdoor concert. Melomundo is the space of Multipase where travel meets music and where each place reveals its identity through its sounds.

Traveling is also listening. Landscapes are not just visible: they have a sound atmosphere that is part of the experience of the journey. From street musicians to large concerts, from songs that we discover in another country to artists that mark important moments in our lives, music often becomes the invisible thread that connects memories, places and emotions.

In this section I share musical chronicles, sound discoveries and reflections on artists and cultural scenes that appear during travel. Some stories are born in recitals that cross paths; others arise from listening to local musicians who are part of the cultural landscape of a city or a territory.

Music also works as a way to travel even when we are still. A song can take us back to a place, a specific moment or an emotion that was forever linked to a landscape. That's why Melomundo tries to capture that relationship between music, memory and travel.

Today, many of these stories are gathered within Postales Sonoras, a subsection where musical chronicles, portraits of artists and reflections on songs or concerts that left a mark along the way appear.

A futuro, Melomundo will also include new lines of sonic exploration within Multipase.
