Once below Mount Fløyen, again along the path, although going down is logically easier, we returned to the Bryggen area to explore this area well and enter this small neighborhood of wooden houses and small shops.
Although the houses were rebuilt in the 1700s after fires and some were rebuilt after subsequent fires, the area preserves the architecture and magic of its times. It's interesting to imagine what life was like in those times. There are some archaeological objects from the period on display, including pots, bowls and even an old beer bottle. Another curious thing is that there was a wristwatch hanging from a nail, it seems that someone lost it and they hung it there in case its owner comes back for it, obviously another culture. From here we enjoyed the sunset in this port area bathed by the waters of the North Sea, the truth is that the entire city is a postcard.
A popular tourist attraction is the open-air market along the Port which since 1276 has been supplying fresh treasures from the sea. So we stopped by there too to look around a little, there are a lot of Spanish-speaking people here, don't be surprised if they suddenly understand someone. In addition, there are crafts and other tourist souvenirs.
The best thing about Bergen is that it continues to lose that magical charm that the small towns have even though it is the second largest city in Norway. Night fell and we went to the apartment to eat something and sleep since the idea was to make the most of the next day.
